Today we received a message about a small puppy who had been hit by a car, while the driver sped away without stopping. For hours, she lay helpless in the middle of the highway — alone, terrified, and in pain — with no hope that anyone would stop to help her. 💔
Even though we were already on the road, we turned back. We couldn’t ignore her silent cry for help. No journey, no plan, no schedule was more important than her life. What we found was heartbreaking, but we refused to leave her behind.
She is now receiving veterinary care and fighting for her life. We still don’t know how severe her injuries are, but she is holding on — and she needs all the support she can get.
